Beaches (La Concha, La Zurriola, Ondarreta)
The main beach is La Concha. For any surfers, La Zurriola is well-known for its waves. You can hire surfing gear from many shops along the front in Gros.
Monte Igueldo
Amazing views of San Sebastián and home to an old-fashioned fairground with rides for all ages. Take the 100-year-old funicular up the mountain for just a few euros.
Monte Urgull
Crowned by the Sacred Heart statue, on the other side of La Concha beach, you can take a short hike up the mountainside for some amazing panoramic views of San Sebastián.
Parte Vieja
The Old Town is filled with bars, shops, and restaurants - perfect for an afternoon of shopping and eating pintxos.
La Perla Spa
For those looking to relax, the spa is the perfect place. The water is taken directly from the sea and so offers a unique experience.
Tabakalera
The old tobacco factory now houses a cultural center with a number of exhibitions and activities. The 5th-floor terrace offers alternative views of the city.
San Telmo
Free on Tuesdays (otherwise 6 EUR), this museum shares the history and evolution of Basque society.
We recommend making time to visit La Rioja Alta and Bodegas Roda and staying in the Hotel Santa MarÃa in Briones.
